Amy Martinez-Monfort is founder and CEO of Tampa Laundry Company. Amy is a Florida native who attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Florida for law school. She practiced law with Carlton Fields in Tampa before beginning a career in sales and marketing with Eli Lilly. In 2015, Amy started Tampa Laundry Company, a full service laundry and linen company. Three years later, the Tampa Bay Chamber named Tampa Laundry Company its Small Business of the Year, lauding its clean branding, unique style, meteoric growth and call to “Think Clean Thoughts.” In 2025, Amy was named Outstanding Leader of the Year by the Tampa Bay Chamber. The Business Observer also named Amy one of its Top Entrepreneurs for Tampa Bay. She served as the Chairman of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay. Amy was appointed to the national board of CLA, the Coin Laundry Association. Amy also serves on the Executive Boards of both the Tampa Bay Chamber and Metropolitan Ministries’ Board of Directors. She is a committee member for Tennis on the Green, raising money for the Children’s Cancer Center. Amy is also honored to work with our nation’s military, mentoring retiring Special Forces Operators in the STAR Network. She is a parishioner and lector at Christ the King Catholic Church and also serves as an event chair for the Jesuit Mother’s Club. Amy is most proud of her role as wife to her husband Luis, and mother of their two children, Lexi and Luke.
